Anatomy of an Effective Message

An effective message is a message that makes a point and motivates action. It takes more than just good content to make a message effective; it requires good packaging (layout, design, structure, etc). Below is a message of one of motion4.com's founding members, Denise Marek, that shows proper elements of good message structure and design. Beyond the visual appeal, a message should be easily reusable in addition to being HTML 4.01 standards compliant.

If you have a specific question about anything you see, no matter how technical, please let us know. You can also see Denise Marek's message in action by signing up for her newsletter here: http://www.denisemarek.com/newsletter.htm.
